Keeping Busy

The weather has been perfect for playing outside. We have this awesome backyard. A backyard that we were anxious to have for Holly and JD and our little dog too.  It’s all set up with some nice plush grass, some concrete for running, and a swing set. All things perfect for 16 month old toddlers who like to explore, who fall often and like to run. We try to get outside a couple times a day to play and get some vitamin D. Holly stays close but JD likes to walk around the shed, go to the side yard, yell at the dogs next door, throw rocks and he’s getting better about not eating the nuts falling from the tree. He and Holly are becoming quite good at throwing. They have no fear when it comes to going down stairs, thankfully we have plush grass for them to land on.

Our front patio has wire column thingys, for decoration I guess. Holly and JD like to peek through and say their favorite word “Hi.”

When we aren’t outside we find things to play with inside. Holly and JD discovered they can get in and out of the bathtub on their own. Or maybe I discovered they could do that because I went in their and found these two sillies playing with their bath toys. At least they can’t take their clothes off by themselves yet!
