The weather is changing and we get to wear our long sleeve shirts and pants now. I cleaned out Holly and JD’s dresser, saying good bye to shorts and t-shirts until next summer.  And then I realized they didn’t have very many clothes to wear for fall. Oh darn, that means I have to go shopping. Thanks to the Grandmas they had a few things to wear and thankfully Wal-mart and Target had some sales. Stripes and leggings will be the theme this fall in our house. Holly’s skinny little legs look so darling in leggings.

It’s been a challenge for Holly and JD to understand that with the rain they can’t go outside so we’ve come up with some new activities inside. Jim came up with our most favorite one, sitting in the baby doll stroller and being pushed around. Holly loves being pushed by JD. He puts a big smile on his face and gives his sister a ride. She even stayed in the stroller waiting patiently for quite some time for JD to give her a ride. He would like a turn to be pushed too but Holly would rather ride. Good thing I don’t mind joining in on the fun. Holly and JD have also enjoyed climbing on furniture, playing peek-a-boo with each other, stacking cans in the pantry, figuring out how to open the dishwasher, and most recently standing in the pantry drawers.
