Well, I got home last night from work at about 7:30 and thought I could start the highlighting process myself. I reached as much as I could and waited for Jim to come home to help me. He reluctantly helped me finish pulling the rest of my hair out of the cap. Now it was time to put the creme on. Together we put the creme on, all the while Jim is saying this is useless and not worth the time. I pressed forward and was determined to highlight my hair. I waited and waited and waited, a little too long. The whole time Jim keeps asking, “how long are you going to keep it on there?” I finally rinse and realize that maybe I did leave it on too long and the hairs that I pulled out of the cap were too chunky. I then woke up this morning and blow dried my hair and WOW. I don’t look good as a blond… or is it orange??? I don’t think I will be highlighting my hair anytime in the near future. As I was on my way to Long’s Drugs to get some hair dye, I called into work, told them I had a hair crisis and would be in late! Now I am waiting to rinse the dye out of my hair. Is it supposed to burn?
