Tonight was my second cake decorating class. We learned how to make dots, shells, stars, zigzags and how to write. The evening started off very interesting as a mother and daughter walked in about ten minutes late with only one seat available. The instructor was creating a separate seat for one of them, meanwhile the daughter was yelling at her mom for every thing she did. I finally moved to my very own table so they could sit next to each other. It worked out better for me because I could spread my things out. I was the only one who brought cake to practice on so I could take pictures of my new skills.
Happy Birthday Mom! It’s the least I could do since your card will be late! Hope you enjoy the look, I will let you know how it tastes.

Those are cute little cakes. What size are the pans?
Thanks! They are 4″ pans. You bake the sides separately and then put them together, they have a indentation on each side to have filling in the middle! I need to figure out what is wrong with my oven though because they took a lot longer to bake than they were supposed too.
Charm City Cakes (Ace of cakes) watch out for Monkeyshines!
Good enough to eat, send me a piece of birthday cake.
