Holly and JD are five and a half months old and really starting to notice each other a lot! We spend a few hours a day on the floor practicing rolling over from tummy to back and back to tummy. I can tell they really want to move because their feet are moving everywhere. Leaving them on the couch and walking away is a no no now! Good thing they enjoy the jungle and the Elmo walker! It’s fun to see how quickly they discover each other. Holly will sometimes grab JD’s pacifier out of his mouth and he likes to laugh and make her smile! Tummy time is a breeze for them now! They can hold their heads high. We are trying new veggies every week. It’s taking Holly a little bit of time to enjoy squash though JD really likes it. Next up is carrots or maybe bananas.
Holly recently found her feet and is quite helpful when we’re changing her diaper by holding her own feet in the air. She loves blowing raspberries with her lips and spits everywhere! It’s really cute except when it’s four A.M and I’m trying to get her to go back to sleep! The other night Jim was offering me a cookie out of the package and as he reached across Holly to me she grabbed one! She’s knows a good treat when she sees one!

JD is getting more hair on his head!! woo hoo! He loves sucking on his hand and anything else you give him. He has the cutest and biggest grin that can brighten anyone’s day. He also does this thing with his neck, when he’s standing on our laps, like he’s sticking his head out of a turtle shell. Appropriately, we call it “turtle turtle”!
We all miss Daddy at lunch time these days so we are especially excited when he gets home from work. It’s fun to see the huge smiles on Holly and JD’s faces when he returns home.

They just get cuter and cuter
I love the hand holding picture. It’s so exciting that they’ll always have each other to play with.
