Last night we went to the 49ers game and had a blast. It was my first NFL game and the seats could not have been better. We were close to the field and could see what was going on, except when they were playing near the other end zone. We had seats in the red zone, about six rows from the field. Before the game we got to go to the Alumni tailgate party, where we ate hot dogs, ribs, macaroni, and some giant cookies. We were definitely ready for the game after a nice feast. When the team comes out onto the field they send fireworks into the air, so I captured some photos. By the end of the announcements the field was filled with smoke. Constantine, from American Idol, sang “The National Anthem” and he actually did a pretty good job. At the end of the first quarter the cheerleaders passed out fleece blankets to fans in the red zone, which was wonderful because it was pretty chilly. Because we were so close to the field we were able to see some of the famous people walking by. The lady was so mad and started yelling and saying it wasn’t very nice, blah blah blah. Her friend thought it was pretty funny! A few minutes later, Sam came back to apologize and brought her and her friend on the field and then pulled a 49er fan onto the field too. We cheered for him and booed for them, over and over! That was fun too. We left with a couple minutes left in the game to beat the traffic. The game went by quickly and they even won. Enjoy the pictures.

Looks like you had fun and from those smiles it looks as those the bruises have healed.
Thanks for letting us experience some of your fun evening.
My comments aren’t as pleasant or as pleasing as Aunt Kim’s. more based on jealousy and angst. I blame Mom for not having been at that game. If she would have scheduled my tickets correctly I would have been able to fly home and make it on time. I blame her.
Go Niners! It seems as though Doug has found some issues with his siblings enjoying a night out. My advice to him is the same as Uncle Jim’s: STOP BLOGGING IN THE EARLY MORNING AND SAVE YOUR STRENGTH FOR SWAYING SKELETONS!!!!!
I blame your mother for many things as well, like having to listen to church music in the morning seminary class. But I digress.
I have come to terms with the fact that everything is my fault and actually at my advanced age I’m just happy that I am in your thoughts – I’ll take what I can get! Speaking of what I can get – I sure hope the stores aren’t out of everything I still need to buy…how does time go so fast! Merry Christmas to all!!
