Last baseball game…for a while anyway

One of the perks to Jim’s job is that every once in a while he gets tickets to sporting events. Last Friday he got tickets to the A’s vs Giant’s game in San Francisco. We are A’s fans so it was perfect. I had never been to AT&T park before so I was especially excited. Before we left we stopped by Target to pick up a seat cushion, so I would be a bit more comfy at the game. The tickets were two rows behind home plate so we got to see the players faces up close. We ate hot dogs and nachos for dinner, so outrageously priced but since we didn’t pay anything for the tickets it was a pretty inexpensive date. I took a few pictures of the players and Jim pointed out later I took more of the Giants than of the As. Oops. The nice usher guy was nice enough to take a picture of us before we left. We did leave early to beat the crowd, I can’t walk so fast anymore! The A’s did end up winning in the 10th inning. Go A’s!

On a different sports note…I saw Anthony Randolph (Golden State Warriors 6’11” rookie phenom) walking out of the Walnut Creek Target on Saturday night. As he walked by I told Lanette who he was and she was pretty impressed I knew who he was.  I guess that’s what happens when you are married to a sports fanatic! I walked by too quickly to get his autograph or to tell him what a great game he had on Friday night. I think he might have heard me say something to Lanette though.
