Six years ago today, Jim and I went on our very first date. I received tickets to an Olympic hockey game and thought it would be a fun first date adventure. We took the bus to Salt Lake so we were able to get to know each other on the way there and back. Neither of us are hockey fans but the Olympic experience was fun. I think I still have my ticket for the game! So even though we will celebrate our 3rd wedding anniversary in April, I must say it’s been a fun six years with Jimbo, that’s what I called him back then! What did you do for your first date?

Looking pretty cozy for a first date. I know it was meant to be.
We were even more cozy on the bus ride home! hee hee
Jim held my hand, awww.
I took Jeff to Samurai Sam’s, sad copy of Teriyaki Sticks, and then to SLC to see the Testaments. We finished up at my parents house, my roommates all had boyfriends and claimed different couches to “chat” up close, so Jeff and I went out to the porch swing and argued baseball with my brother. He held my hand on the way home too… crazy boys from Concord.
umm…I feel kind of awkward being a man and commenting on this but I feel as though my first date with Cate was somewhat representative of Idaho. We went to an old abandoned mill that had been converted into a haunted house of sorts. Anyway to connect with everyone else we did hold hands but unfortunately we had no picture. too bad.
